Advanced Music FOBISIA Festival in Vietnam 2019

On 18th September, 5 Secondary students flew to Vietnam to represent BSB at the FOBISIA Advanced Festival hosted by British International School Ho Chi Minh City (BIS HCMC). While the weekend was mostly rehearsal, we also had time to explore some of Ho Chi Minh City’s famous sites and do some shopping. It was lovely to explore the culture and see the city!

Students and staff spent 3 days rehearsing very difficult pieces with other FOBISIA students under the baton of professional conductors and performed in a concert on Sunday afternoon. The repertoire was extremely demanding and tiring to keep rehearsing, but the students rose to the challenge and gave an incredible performance!
