BSB at THIMUN Conference Singapore Summary

The prestigious THIMUN Conference, Singapore is a five-day simulation of the United Nations for Secondary school students. This Year, the conference took place from the 18th to the 22nd of November 2019.

Four BSB students, Luca Coban (Year 13), Haopeng (Daniel) Liu (Year 12) , Jongwook (Gilbert) Ahn (Year 11) and Yiran (Emily) Liu (Year 11) had the opportunity to participate in this conference. They represented the country of Estonia in General assemblies 1,2,3 and 4. Throughout the five days of the conference, the students had the chance to engage in high-quality debates, intense lobbying and assist in passing of significant resolutions.

Apart from attending the conference during the day, the students also had fun exploring the local culture of Singapore. We hope that it was a very valuable experience for our students and congratulate them on their successful participation in the conference.
