BSB Shunyi achieved outstanding 2021 IB Diploma results!

We are proud to share with our entire school community that the students at The British School of Beijing (BSB) Shunyi achieved exceptional results in this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

We support our students to achieve more than they ever thought possible and believe there is no limit to what they can achieve socially, personally and academically. This year, our students’ academic results reflect our shared commitment to excellence in this area.

For the 2020/21 academic school year,

• BSB Shunyi achieved an average score of 37 significantly higher than the global average of 33, widening the gap between BSB and other IB schools around the world.
• Our pass rate is 100% this year exceeding the global average of 89%.
• We are delighted to announce that one in three students achieved 40 points and above.  This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.
• In particular, 2 student achieved a perfect score of 45 and 2 students achieved a near perfect score of 44.

All of us here at BSB Shunyi would also like to congratulate our graduating seniors. These students have put in an incredible amount of hard work over the years and we can’t wait to see what they do in the future.
