Principal's Update - 24 June, 2022

The end of this academic year has come around far too quickly and we were most disappointed not to end with the children here with us on campus. This week, we have had a chance to thank our teachers for their hard work ,dedication and positivity during an unusual year that tested our resilience and flexibility to its maximum. There really is a feeling here at BSB Shunyi that everyone is working together for the good of the children in our care it is such a very happy and vibrant school and I am honoured to have become part of it this year.

My hopes for next year are that we will see all students back on campus with lots of enrichment activities and involvement, from and with, the parents and the wider community. We did have parts of the year when this was the case, so let's not forget those highs and hope that our support for the preventative measures leads to a more stable future for all.

For those families who are relocating, we wish you all the very best in your next adventures and we thank you, very sincerely, for all you have contributed to the school in your time here. Your children will always be our students and we look forward to hearing of their successes in the future.

We wish you all a very relaxing and happy summer and I look forward to starting a more normal year with you in August. You will have seen that we will all return to school on September 1st but look out for welcome events the day before too. We have all of our new staff in place and will start to welcome them over the next few weeks and are very excited to have them joining us. Thank you to you all for your support this year and be assured that we are already working very hard to make sure that next year is an exciting school year for your children!
