Once a term, the principals from across China Nord Anglia Education’s international schools network come together for the Principal’s Power Meeting. These meetings are an important opportunity for school leaders to visit one another’s campuses, take part in learning walks and provide valuable quality assurance feedback. By observing learning in different contexts, principals are able to share insights, celebrate strong practice and offer constructive reflections that support ongoing school improvement.
This term, we were delighted to welcome the principals to the British School of Beijing, where they spent one day at our Shunyi campus and one day at our Sanlitun campus. This gave colleagues the opportunity to see the breadth of learning across both schools, engage with students and staff and provide feedback on the many strengths of our community.
The meeting also provides dedicated time for principals to work together on the high-level strategic priorities that drive growth across the region. This includes strengthening alignment between schools, sharing approaches that are having a positive impact and considering how we can continue to improve the experience of students, families and colleagues. It is a valuable forum for collaboration, professional challenge and collective learning across the NAE China school network.
