It was great to see our wonderful Year 4 students engaged and excited to learn back at the start of the new school year.
In our Science unit, the students have been learning about the digestive system. We have started with learning about our teeth as the first part of the digestive system and discovered what happens when we bite an apple only being able to use the front teeth. We have found out that we have various types of teeth and got to know the different purpose of incisors, molars, canines and premolars.
Finally, we embarked on a journey to follow the food through our bodies – almost becoming doctors ourselves.
This has been a fun unit of work, filled with creativity and teamwork. We were impressed how well our students worked together and produced some great pieces of work. This is just an example of the wonderful ideas and learning that is taking place in Year 4. We are looking forward to seeing more great work from our amazing students.
