Year 8 students is excited to learn about the Renaissance as their second unit in their Humanities course.
They started off by researching what the Renaissance was and did a comparison with the Medieval period. They were guided through the research by following key questions that led them to the discovery of what the Renaissance was and how it was different from the Medieval times. Students then presented their evaluation to the rest of the class.
They learned some very useful research skills and collaborated with their class group members to evaluate their findings which developed not only their inquiry skills but taught them to be good communicators.
