Service Through Comedy

This summer, a group of BSB students spent a week at a Comedy Camp together, learning all sorts of comedy techniques, references and contexts. After learning from a professional from New York City, the students continued to look for opportunities to showcase their talents and support the local community.

To support the Furry Tales Animal Rescue charity, these students performed at the Shunyi Tongli Market and helped raised 10,888 RMB.

Then on 2^nd October, 2022, our BSB Comedy troupe have been invited to participate in a comedy ‘Improv Workshop’ at Malacca Restaurant by Roma Lake. Together with ‘Improv Tree’ and ‘Comedy Club China’, our students raised RMB 10,001 RMB for the TianYun School. This is a special school for children who are hearing impaired, autistic, Down’s syndrome or have other delayed learning disabilities.
