Students in Year 7 successfully completed the “Pasta Car STEAM Challenge” which entailed students designing and making a car using different types of pasta.
Throughout the challenge students displayed various MIT Learner Ambitions by being CREATIVE, RESILIENT and COLLABORATIVE.
The challenge culminated with a race challenge where students raced their pasta cars down a ramp and the car that slide the furthers from the ramp was the winning car.
Students ended the Pasta Challenge with group presentations outlining the highlights of the challenge as well as the valuable skills their developed.
