On 12th December we hosted our very first TEDxYouth@BSBShunyi event. It was an amazing day which highlighted the passion of our students and our community for ideas worth sharing. Students from Year 7 to Year 11 gave inspiring talks about the topics they find close to their hearts.
While listening to these talks, our community learned how we can use Artificial Intelligence in our learning journey, how to cope with academic anxiety, how to plan for an uncertain future, about the importance of face-to-face communication, about the humble power of philosophy, how computer games can inspire a career path, about the importance of trying different academic subjects, how to effectively solve problems, how to have the courage to not be accepted, and how one can carry their home country in their heart even if they live far away.
We also had two amazing performances, one at the pipa and an ensemble at the piano, flute and violin. The event was well received by our community and we promise to return next year with more exciting TEDx Youth talks.

The British School of Beijing recently hosted BritMUN 2025, a Model United Nations (MUN) event that highlights the exceptional organisational and leadership skills of our students. This year's conference was a remarkable success, attracting student delegates from many different schools across Beijing, including the British School of Beijing, the International School of Beijing, Dulwich College Beijing, and Beijing World Youth Academy.
