Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) are offered to Primary students (Year 1-6) and Secondary students, held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays right after school from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
CCAs provide the opportunity to experience different skills, ideas and hobbies as well as exploring new areas of interest. They are also a fantastic way to meet people from different year groups and backgrounds with whom they may normally not easily get the chance to interact.
Students who take CCAs will return home on the school bus at 4:30pm rather than 3:30pm. Information on all the buses that your child will take to come home will be sent directly to you.
There generally is no extra cost involved for the activities, but on some occasions small fees may be charged for use of special equipment or ingredients.
CCA Dates for 2023-2024
Season 1: 18 September, 2023 – 16 November, 2023
Season 2: 27 November, 2023 – 1 February, 2024
Season 3: 19 February, 2024 – 12 April, 2024
Season 4: 22 April, 2024 – 7 June, 2024
Sign Up for CCA
CCA Sign up Dates for each season will be announced by your child's teacher.
During each CCA season's sign up window, your teacher will email you instructions with details on how to sign your child up for Activities.
1.Log in to the SOCS co-curricular system by clicking on the following link:

2. Enter your username and password.
Please select ‘Parent’ when you log in and use your own email address. This would be the email address that you receive communications from BSB. . If you have forgotten your password, please click the 'Forgot Password' option and you will be able to reset the password.
3. If you have any questions, please contact your child's class Teacher/Form Tutor or Primary/Secondary Receptionist.
4. After you've logged on to the system, refer to your teacher's email for the instructions on how to complete your choices.
5. Parents will be able to indicate their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices for CCAs and the system will assign these selections once the sign-up date closes. It will attempt to give all families their first and second choice and will distribute out other choices if a CCA is fully booked.
The system will automatically assign your child to a CCA if they do not receive their choice. Please choose ‘No Activity’ if you do not want that to happen. Your last choice should be ‘No Activity’ on each day. We will try to ensure that every child has at least 1 first or second choice, however, this isn’t always possible depending on the popularity of certain CCAs.
6. A reminder: please remember to also sign up for the school bus if you wish your child to use the bus to return home.
