STEAM Day
STEAM day encourages students’ curiosity and helps students learn through fun, interactive and educational activities and games. Students will be inspired to explore and pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

TASK:
Students have to build a model/prototype to demonstrate a concept in Science, Math or Engineering.
CRITERIA
- STEAM DAY is open to all Secondary students at BST
- Projects are accepted in two categories:
- Teams are comprised of maximum 3 students
- For registration BST students must show their projects to the selection committee (Dr. Kieran, Ms. Danuta, Mr. Shakeel and Mr. Sami) by 4 February 2022
- The selection committee at BST will undertake preliminary assessment of the projects and only 10 projects in each category (total 20) will be selected for demonstration during the STEAM DAY
- All selected projects will be announced by 7 February 2022
- Students must present the concept behind their project in 3 minutes during STEAM DAY
- Each group will be evaluated by at least 2 jurors
- STEAM DAY will take at Kalandar Campus on 11 February 2022
- All participants will receive certificates of participation
- Top three groups will also receive medals and awards
- There will also be special award categories such as “the most creative project”, “the cutest presentation” and “best of best”
- Registration and participation for STEAM DAY is free.

STEAM DAY Schedule
12:30 – 13:45 – Fair (selected students demonstrate their project and judges evaluate them)
13:45-14:15 – Award ceremony and guest speaker Zaynab Atabayeva - Incubation Development Manager at IT Park Uzbekistan.
