STEAM On…. On Friday 11th February we held our STEAM Day. The day inspired students to explore and pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Students from Year 7-10 were challenged to build a model/prototype to demonstrate a concept in Science, Math or Engineering.

On Friday 11th February we held our STEAM Day. The day inspired students to explore and pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Students from Year 7-10 were challenged to build a model/prototype to demonstrate a concept in Science, Math or Engineering. 

The best projects were awarded with certificates and STEAM kits so that they can continue making the impossible possible!

  • Firdavs, Mukhammadaziz and Shohrukh (Year 10):  Air powered car 
  • Saltan, Ege and Sharif (Year 10): Ground effect vehicle  
  • Madinabonu Year (10):  Saturn magnetic levitating 
  • Emma (7C) with Qashaf (7A) model of the Earth and the Sun 
  • Amelia, Ain, Ekin 8B "Hot ice" experiment 
  • Abeerah, Arslan, Anum "Water wheel free energy device" (Yr 9) 
  • Aziz 8B - Crossbow 
  • Ibrahim, Ali Mordan and Babur (Year 9 B): Lego Puppy 
  • Daaksh, Haider, Timur Yr 7 – The Bug 
  • Rishik, Alibek and Said (Yr 7) – Washing Machine 
  • Vadim and Kerem (Yr 7B) – Coin battery project.

The winners for Engineering category were Saltan, Ege and Sharif (Year 10) with the project called Ground Effect Vehicle where they built a flying car. They won an Arduino Kit. The winners for the Science category were Vadim and Kerem (Yr 7B) with Coin Battery Project winning an Znatok Electronics Kit. Well done!
