The house football competition has come to the end this week.

In the Year 7 tournament, it was extremely close going into the final game between Saigon and Dalat. All Saigon needed was a draw but Dalat had to win to come out on top. It was a nail biting game and either team could have won; however Dalat won 2-1, making them the overall winners of the Year 7 competition.

In Year 8 and 9, the number of participants was disappointing, with some houses struggling to raise a team of 5 players. This had an impact on the results for some teams. There was a clear winner of this tournament: Saigon. Saigon showed strength in all of their games and deserve the winning title.

The results of the KS4 competition are as follows: 1st - Dalat, 2nd -Hanoi, 3rd - Saigon and 4th – Hue.

Next week, the girls take to the pitch and have the opportunity to play for their house and already the numbers of participants is looking good.

Finally, a thank you to all the staff that helped referee the games during their lunchtimes, enabling the competition to run.
