We have experienced one more exciting week with a wide range of activities that we would like to share to you:

In geography,

The year 7 students are beginning to learn how to use maps and navigate around. They can now use compass directions and will be soon be navigating themselves around the school campus to test their skills!

The year 9 students have been looking at examples of coastal erosion and have focused on how headlands and bays have been formed. Real life examples have been used including Ha Long Bay which the students have loved learning about as many of them have visited many times before!

Sports

We have successfully completed the KS3 Boys and girls basketball trials and KS4 and 5 Boys and girls Volleyball Trials. The teams have been posted on the PE noticeboard and players informed. Training for these teams begins next week.

Student Parliament

Student Parliament meetings have started this week. We have had an overwhelming number of applications and are thrilled to get started with such a brilliant team. Thursday’s meeting was run by our prefect team and featured some hilarious games. Representatives from each of the Key Stages are there too to help Parliament with a better overview of the needs of the student body. It is going to be an exciting year for our students!

Breakfast Club

We are going to trial a breakfast club at school for four weeks.  If you would like to register for the breakfast club, there is a google form for students to complete from Monday 21st – Wed.  If you register you must pay 500,000 VND on Friday 25th Sep this will then entitle you to 10 breakfasts over the following two weeks from 28th Sep – 9th Oct.  pay.  This will also run for two weeks after the half term.
