The Under 16 Girls Netball Team performed superbly in what was the very first fixture for an Under 16 DCIS team.

Led by Captain Nicky (Year 11), the team was made up of a mix of girls from Year 7 through to Year 11. Leading 13-8 at half time, the girls, with Oceane and Tiffany dominating the defence and Holly and Nicky with their shooting eye in, were looking the better team. A very strong third quarter from AIS saw them lead and despite an even last quarter, the girls were defeated narrowly 26-24.

It was a superb effort by the girls against a strong AIS team. They can be proud of their efforts and hopefully can push on for the rest of their season.
