DCA Christmas Fayre 2019 The DCA Christmas Fayre was a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit.

The DCA Christmas Fayre was a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit.

At 15.00 the gates blew open and in came the first of our guests to the Christmas Fayre.

A number of parents and students had teamed up to run some fun activity stalls including, pin the heart on the grinch, lucky dip, Christmas colouring and much more.

The bouncy castle had a constant queue and this led straight on to the Tombola stall, where it really was pot luck on the prize you won.

A good selection of food and drink was available including our regular mulled wine stall, baked goods and light up lollies!

A wide variety of vendors were showcasing their goods in Cooper Hall to the sounds of Christmas music. They were also joined by the school dancers showing some of their routines. The Japanese community offered some beautiful gifts and sushi from the academy.

Various teaching staff and Mr Short were good enough to agree to get sponged in the wet zone where we also had ice fishing.

The music concert in the canteen was well attended. Santa was found relaxing in The Lounge in between answering letters and noting down the children's Christmas wishes.

Thanks to everyone who donated tombola items.  We'd also like to note the commitment of our faithful volunteers without whom we can't run these events.  Special shout out to our creative team for making the campus look so festive and to Nina in 12CF for being the event photographer!
