There is a lot happening/starting this week. Please tell students that quite a few things have changed so check the below carefully. Yellow highlights are new activities, blue is transport, and green are things you need to know but students don’t. Thank you for all your help with this – we couldn’t do it without you!

This is what is happening This Week in BSB Sport:

Swimming (aquabears) training beings this week – all students have also received a letter with these times – Monday (after school), Tuesday (after school), Wednesday (before and after school – Minibears only), Thursday (after school) and Friday (before school)  NB there is no school transport on Monday evening, Tuesday evening for primary, Thursday evening for Primary,  or for the early morning sessions.

Monday: U16 (JV) volleyball match (Boys) vs. HISB2 @BSB 1630 (Dome 2), U16 (JV) volleyball match (Girls) vs. HISB2 @BSB 1630 (Gym 2), Volleyball training continues for all other players. U14/U13/U12 football (Boys/Girls) training continues (Pitch),

Tuesday: U19/U16 netball (Girls) training (Dome), U14/U13/U12 badminton (Boys/Girls) training (Gym), U19/U14 Cross Country (Boys/Girls) training (Track), ** NEW U11/U10/U9/U8 Primary Football training BEGINS (Register in Gym, then Pitch);

Wednesday: U16 (JV) volleyball match (Boys) vs. BIBA @BSB 1630 (Dome 2), U19 (V) volleyball match (Girls) vs. THIS @BSB 1630 (Gym 1), U16 (JV) volleyball match (Girls) vs. THIS @BSB 1630 (Gym 2) Volleyball training continues for all other players U19/U14 Cross Country (Boys/Girls) training (Track),

Thursday: U14/U13 football match (Boys) vs. HISB @HISB (BUS Departs BSB @ 1545), ** NEW U19/U16 netball (Girls) training (Dome), U14/U13/U12 football (Girls) & U12 football (Boys) training (Pitch); ** NEW U11/U9 Primary Cross Country & U9 primary Athletics training (Register in Gym, then Track);

Friday: U19 (V) volleyball match (Girls) vs. HISB @BSB 1630 (Gym 1), Volleyball training continues for all other players, U16 baseball (Boys) training (Pitch);

Saturday: U16 baseball: Field of Dreams Tournament/WABX @ WAB vs. ISB JV 1200 & vs. WAB JV 1430, U14 boys ISAC D1 football exchange @ ISB 0900 (TBC), U14 girls ISAC D1  football exchange @ BSB 0900, U13 boys ISAC football exchange @ DCB, U13 girls ISAC football exchange @HISB 0900 (TBC), U12 boys ISAC football exchange @BCIS 0930, U12 girls ISAC football exchange @BSB 1000.


Please remind all students that they must sign up for sports, for Seasons 2-4 as well as Season 1, either using Eventbrite or the registration forms available in the PE office. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT.

Due to transportation organization, non-registered primary students will not be allowed to join training, squad lists of registered students will be sent Monday. If a student is not on this list they cannot come to training on Tuesday or Thursday. U11 Table Tennis will not start until 16th September.

U15 FOBISIA Try-Outs start this WEEK:

Selection for the team will take place during PE lessons and after school during the week beginning Monday 7th September to Friday 11th September and the squad will be announced on Monday 14nd September.

I have attached the Secondary Late Bus routes/times of departure/expected arrival times. Please feel free to take advantage of this Bus for any other activities for secondary students (not available to any primary students). If more than 10 students, please just drop me an email to check on space for that day.
