Our BSB Teams are participating at the World Scholar's Cup (WSC) Tournament of Champions at Yale University from 8-13 November.
Please see an update received live from Yale currently 10 November evening (Eastern Standard Time)
Sunday should be a day of rest! Not for our BSB Junior Scholars here at Yale University. This morning they took part in the Scholars Bowl. A challenging multiple choice general knowledge quiz. The students all sat together in Woolsey Hall (a famous Yale lecture theatre, see photos) and had a digital remote that enabled them to select an answer. The feedback from the students was that they did well.
Following lunch, the students had a chance to enjoy firstly the talent show and secondly a question and answer session with Yale Undergraduates.
Tomorrow, is our day off so we’re heading to New York City for a day of sight seeing. Make sure you check out the pictures tomorrow.
Mr. Chris Planchant, Head of Year 11
The Seniors took on the tournaments toughest day. After meeting their fellow team mate Aleksey Pansa who completed their trio, the Seniors took on WSC challenge, collaborative writing and debate rounds. Jaimee and Russell’s team crushed it, winning all three debates returning with huge smilies.
