On Thursday 24th October, 25 children from Years 5 and 6 performed ‘A Journey Through Shakespeare’.
As part of their ASA, the children used lessons from Juilliard to help them understand how to interpret and read Shakespeare.
Then, over the last few weeks, they have been using this first hand when practicing monoglogues, duolouges and group scenes from Shakespeare’s most famous plays.
Collaboratively, they wrote a script of narration and guided their audience through the works they had been studying.
They did an amazing job performing to a theatre full of their parents and staff and clearly demonstrated how much they had learnt.
