Why do you chose this university?
I chose University of Sydney because it is very diverse, with an exquisite campus while being located in the heart of the city. I want to study Paediatric Oncology Nursing because I have always had a special affinity for helping people and I want to make a difference for others, helping them fight this disease.
My expectations for university life are to find myself and grow as a person while really enjoying what I am going to learn about my future career.
How does it feel to be graduating?
It feels liberating to be graduating but at the same time quite saddening because primary and high school are a part of life you can only experience once.
What do you like about the IB Diploma Programme?
I liked the programme because I think that it opens up a lot of opportunities and experiences for you that you wouldn’t get to do if you were doing another programme. I took IB. I chose English A: Literature & Language HL, History HL and Sports, Exercise and Health Science HL. I also chose French ab initio SL, Mathematical Studies SL and Chemistry SL.
The IB was at times challenging but that only made me want to overcome my challenges and I think that was an important asset to when I was doing this programme.
What's special about BSB?
I think it is definitely the friendships you make with people from all over the world because you grasp a new perspective on things.
What is special about BSB is that the teachers here really push you to do your best because they want to see you go out into the world and succeed.
BSB allows you to take action in the school community and express yourself. Examples of this would be taking part in the organisation of prom and the school productions we have on offer.
I managed to enjoy my high school life by surrounding myself with people who understood me and my worth, knowing they would always be there for during the tough times.
