The Middle School Arts Academy at NBPS

Grounded in our mission to inspire global students to create their future and live with purpose, the Middle School Arts Academy is designed to nurture young artists as they discover their creative voice while building strong technical foundations. Through meaningful artistic experiences, collaboration, and a supportive learning environment, students are empowered to think creatively, work with intention, and grow into confident, thoughtful artists connected to the world around them.

A Collaborative and Immersive Experience

Students in the Middle School Arts Academy benefit from a dynamic and personalized experience that includes:

Academic Pathways Designed for Flexibility

While fully immersed in the Academy, students enroll in two to three fine arts electives each year. Rather than committing to a single pathway too early, students are encouraged to explore a range of artistic disciplines, allowing interests and strengths to evolve naturally.

All Academy electives are within the fine arts, and the program is intentionally designed to support academically diverse learners. Students also have the flexibility to opt out of a traditional world language course in middle school or pursue it online through FLVS.
