Chinese Update

This week children in all Chinese groups had a lot of fun with story reading, writing and acting.

In Year 2 Forbidden City group, Children learned to create a story about taking a shower. They were encouraged to discuss what would happen if they didn’t take a shower for one week. In Year 4 Forbidden City group, children learned a story about sickness. They were challenged to change the end of the story to a different one. Year 6 Forbidden City had fun with reading and retelling a story about the vet and the doctor. Year 6 Lama Temple group had lots of fun acting out the story 田忌赛马 (General Tian Ji in a horse race).

Meanwhile, the younger children tried out some outdoor activities in the Chinese class. In Nursery, children learned about body parts. They played games and activities to get some exercise while learning the Chinese names for different parts of their body.
