Year 1 had a magical Christmas art morning filled with glitter and sparkles.
The children welcomed family and friends to the gym to take part in a creative Christmas session. They designed and made their own baubles to hang on the tree and then created beautifully sparkly cards.
Everyone had a wonderful time. Everyone then joined Year 2 in the hall to sing some Christmas songs that we have been practicing in choral class. It was a terrific morning. Merry Christmas from all in Year 1.

This term the Year 2 children have enjoyed reading the story Meerkat Mail by Emily Gravett. With all their learning drawing from the book Meerkat Mail, the children created and wrote their own stories which they shared with their parents before the Key Stage 1 Sing-a-long.
All of the Year 2 children enjoyed sharing their stories with their Mums and Dads, explaining how they have designed each page, using a range of art skills as well as writing and editing the story to show Sunny the Meerkat’s journey from the Kalahari desert, visiting the ocean, the rainforest, our very own Beijing and even the freezing cold artic!
After our sharing morning in our classrooms, we joined Year 1 in the main hall to sing some Christmas carols, spreading Christmas cheer. It was a wonderful morning which reminded us of the wonderful community we have here at BSB Sanlitun.
We wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May your holidays be filled with moments of fun and laughter with the ones you love, and may you have a safe and jolly holiday.
