They have already realised that lots of our food, especially fruits and vegetables, grow on plants. To help us understand more about this we have been investigating different seeds and looking into what plants need to grow.

This week the children planted some cress seeds. The children decided to see what happens to the seeds when they are given different amounts of water. The children have really enjoyed checking on the seeds each day and doing scientific drawings and write ups of what changes they have seen.
