Year 4’s Dazzling Disco’s

Last Friday Year 4 held 3 Discos at school to raise money for the New Hope Foundation.  This event was organised and run by an enthusiastic Year group as part of their Maths Week challenge.

  • KS2 disco
  • KS2 Disco
  • KS2 Disco
  • KS2 Disco

The children had to plan each event carefully.  Each class to had to decide what food and drinks would be available, work out the cost for making the food and drinks, and finally deciding what to charge in order to make a profit.

For English the children wrote the letters to invite children to the disco and made posters to advertise their event.

Each child had a job at each event to ensure every child had FUN and left the Disco wanting to attend again next year!

The Reception Disco was held in the Main Gym from 12.00pm-12.30pm
The KS1 Dicso was in the Main Gym from 12.30pm-1.00pm
The KS2 Disco was in the Hall from 6.00pm-7.00pm

The children who attended were thoroughly entertained, we had around 250 children attend.  Thank you to the community for supporting us!
