Maths Week in Pre-Nursery

As part of our Maths focus week in Pre-Nursery we are learning the famous nursery rhyme “Hickory Dickory Dock”. We have been teaching the children the concept of time and introducing them to clocks.

The children enjoyed making their very own little mice clocks on Monday. We are also introducing the morning routines such as Getting up, Getting dressed etc… and we will be continuing with our nursery Rhyme and putting the events of the rhyme in time order.

Also as part of our Maths Week we have been taking part in activities focusing on number recognition and using the Interactive Whiteboard to enjoy many Maths related activities, as well as our daily activities being Maths orientated.
