The Year 3 Production, Lights, Camel, Action had something for everyone: uplifting songs, mesmerising dances, heroes (lots), villains (one) and plenty of laughs. A huge ‘Well done!’ to all the children for what was a truly memorable performance (and another one to all the staff for the hard work that went into making it happen). This production followed hot on the heels of the final event in the Performance Choir’s busy Christmas programme, singing at The Opposite House last Saturday. Before that, parents of children in Reception were treated to two performances of a delightful Christmas extravaganza on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th December. Of course, it hasn’t all been about Christmas.
Back in November, Year 5 put on their wonderful BSB Does Broadway production. There is still much to look forward to in 2019, including two regional Performing Arts festivals (orchestra and choir). Year 4 will also be staging their production in February so please watch this space! In the meantime, we just had the final Christmas Assembly, which was a great way to send everyone off for a well-deserved rest. See you in 2019!
