Chess is a game which requires strategic thinking and boy did the KS2 Chess Club rise to the challenge. They’ve been learning about different opening strategies and the reasoning behind making certain moves which may seem random, but are actually part of a greater plan! They’ve also learnt that taking their time and planning their moves for maximum effect will always achieve better results than rushing into a move which only gives them fool’s gold.
Ultimately, they’ve realized that greatness can be achieved if they but only set their minds to it.
