We researched biofuels and where they are with being produced i.e. how likely it is they will be available to the mass market in the near future. We also researched, via a survey to parents, what people know about biofuels and what they would be willing to pay in order to use it. We then explored how we would market a biofuels product. Majella talked to the children about advertising and marketing - they loved it! We set about creating and designing logos, a poster advert campaign and a television advert.
The Pelicans also enjoyed their sharing work with the Year 1 Lions. We were able to help and support their MIT Challenge work and in return they starred in our TV adverts.

We responded to research which indicated most people are aware of biofuel and its benefit. The market research suggested people wanted guarantees about it being: ethically produced, readily available and affordable/competitive with existing fuel.
