Welcome to Another Term in Key Stage 1

It has been a wonderful start to the autumn term meeting so many of our returning students and welcoming new pupils and families to Key Stage 1 at BSB Sanlitun.

Lessons this week have focused on the pupils and teachers getting to know each other, meeting our fantastic new staff and also visiting the Li building which will be home to our new specialist classrooms.

In our first Key Stage 1 assembly of the year, we discussed what it meant to ‘Be Kind’. As well as being ambitious, we are encouraging the pupils to be kind in their interactions with everyone they meet. It was great to hear so many of our youngest pupils here in the San building be able to give examples of how we can be kind to each. As the year progresses, we will be talking more about this in school and would encourage this dialogue to continue at home.

I am confident that this will be another successful year in Key Stage 1 and I look forward to meeting many of our families at the Meet and Greet next week and throughout the year.
