What a fun and busy week in Chinese!

Another busy week in Chinese with fun activities to celebrate the holidays.

  • Reception hand crafts of sea animals in Chinese class
  • Y5 & Y6 making moon cakes in Chinese class

Reception children talked about animals. They sang songs related to the topic and listened to stories about animals. The children enjoyed making hand crafts of sea animals.

Year 1 non-native group topic is family members. They were encouraged to talk about their family members in Chinese. They also learned to sing songs about family members.

Year 2 native group worked with guess puzzles. They played interesting puzzle games which was a fun way to learn new Chinese characters.

Year 6 native group learned about two ancient poems. They also tried to create and sing ancient poetry by themselves. This was a fun and interesting activity for the children to learn more Chinese.
