This week Storks have grabbed their passports, headed to the airport and jumped on a first class flight destination Earth.  Throughout the week they have explored many different cultures around the world including making wearable jewellery New Zealand, tradition Polynesian artwork using repeated patterns, Aboriginal dot art and tartan designs from the Scottish highlands.

Here at BSB Sanlitun we think that experiencing different cultures and traditions in integral to building a future citizen of an increasingly globalised world.   As part of International Week we provide the opportunity for children to share experiences from their home countries, building a sense of pride of their nationality.  This celebration of difference culminates in our International Fair.  The Parent Association organised a fantastic event, allowing children to visit different countries from all around the world, giving them a taste (quite literally) of their culture.  Check out the looks of excitement on the children's faces.
