EAL Students Camouflaged All Around The World

It’s always fun to learn new words that we can use to play with. The same goes whether you’re in Year 1 or in Year 6!

In KS1, we’ve had a blast trying to find the new animals we’ve been learning about hiding in the tall grass or up in the trees. Some may have even joined us on our holiday activities while we were hiking or helping out in the garden!

In LKS2, we’ve travelled around the world in one day! We’ve been learning about the different countries and continents around the world and the holiday activities that we could do at those places. We’ve come to the conclusion of our journey with our characters in Year 4. We found the buried treasure and worked on recounting our journey from day 1 with our characters. Do not fret, for there’s more adventures to come!

In UKS2, we’ve just finished talking to Shakespeare and have given him some ideas on how to make Romeo & Juliet a better theatre production. We’re now moving on to the Museum of Development where we get to see all the different professions that are out in the world today. The catch is... it’s in a museum! Where have the children ended up?

The children have continued to use their Fluent Thinking skills, coming up with lots of great ideas to help keep their readers spellbound to their stories. Keep up the great work!
