They have taken part in a range of activites related to growing and labelling plants. They know what plants need to live and they have begun planting their own bean plants using a variety of methods.
They were able to choose what types of kidney beans they wanted to grow and how they wanted to grow them. Some of the children chose clear bags and some chose cups, we will be watching the growth of our bean plants over the next two weeks and writing about their progress.
The children have also been drawing and painting their own flowers and some have even been using the internet to search for what plants look like when they are a seed.
