We have phased the return to school to ensure that the children come back in a safe, calm and well- organised manner. There are still significant COVID-19 related protocols that need to be observed and it will take a little bit of time for the children to get used to that and to being back at school! We are going
to pay particular attention to the children's emotional well-being, especially in those first few weeks whilst we get everything back to normal, and have built various activities into our schedule to allow for this.
For the first few weeks of term, as our teachers complete their quarantine, we will need to make some adjustments to the daily schedule and the usual school arrangements. During this period when staff are returning to school, classes will be taught by a combination of existing BSB teachers and teaching assistants. Mrs Harding (Head of Early Years) and myself will be on hand to oversee the opening of the Campus. All being well, we will be running as normal by the end of September. Please bear with us as we get the term up and running under these unusual circumstances and look out for further updates from Mrs Nield and Mrs Harding. We will also organise a WebEx call for parents nearer the time of reopening and will send details of these meetings in due course.
I very much look forwards to seeing you again and to welcoming our first cohort of students on Monday 31 August, in person!
With Best Wishes.
Yours Sincerely,
John Brett
Principal
