Shakespeare Link - a dramatic workshop for BSB English students

  • Shakespeare workshops
  • Sue Best
  • Phil Bowen

Save the date! On Thursday December 8, 2016, Shakespeare Link will be conducting workshops at BSB for Year 7-9 English students.

Shakespeare Link is one of the UK’s most respected Shakespeare companies.  This is their first time in China. The founders, Sue Best and Philip Bowen, will be leading our students through the plays of William Shakespeare in a memorable, creative and innovative way that will include drama games and dramatic performances.

This workshop will help to ignite our students’ passion for literature and reinforce the concepts that we will be studying in our Shakespeare units before and after the Christmas holidays.

Each of the following year groups will attend a workshop for 2 lessons (115 minutes):

  • Year 8- Romeo and Juliet (8:40-10:35)
  • Year 7- The Tempest / Hamlet (10:55-12:50)
  • Year 9- Macbeth (1:35-3:30)

Parents and community members are also welcome to attend to observe the workshop and our students in action!

For more information about Shakespeare Link, please visit  We look forward to seeing you there!
