In 2009, I graduated from University of Wales, in Aberystwyth, with a BSc in Geography. Afterwards, I pursued a successful career in business and management, leading large teams for world leading clients. Within my role, I had a passion for training, coaching and developing others.
After many years in this role, I made the decision to change career and use my existing skills alongside a CELTA qualification, to pursue my passion for teaching and teach English as an additional language. During my CELTA qualification, I taught pupils of varied ages and abilities. To see my pupils progress and develop was extremely rewarding, and I couldn’t wait to embark on my teaching journey in China.
In Guangzhou, I have taught English in a range of settings, for example, Kindergarten, up to the Cambridge English Programme in Secondary in BSG. I have chosen to join the team at BSG to teach in a world class environment, continuing to follow my passion for teaching working for an ambitious and dynamic school.
I have a passion for the outdoors and when not teaching can normally be found up a mountain or careering down one on a mountain bike. I love to travel and enjoy experiencing new countries and cultures with my friends and family.
