I graduated from Stellenbosch University in South Africa in 2014. I have a bachelor’s degree with a major in English, History and Psychology and a PGCE. I taught English for 2 years in Secondary School and then moved to China in 2016. This is my fifth teaching year in China. I taught Pre-Kindergarten at an International School in Guangzhou and am now a Year 1 teacher at BSG.
My previous school is an accredited IB school and I completed my level 2 IB training. I am very excited to be a part of the Nord Anglia family and chose to work at BSG because of the excellent reputation of the school. I was also very lucky to have worked with Mr Matthew Cox for two years and am thrilled to work with him again.
I am from Cape Town, South Africa. I am here with my husband, ten-year-old daughter, two dogs and cat. When I am not teaching or creating and planning awesome things for my students, I love spending time with my family, cooking and exploring new places.
