Principal, Mr Brian Cooklin Announces Location of Second Campus

02 November 2016

  • NAIS20161102

Dear Parents,

Today marks an important milestone for NAIS. I am delighted to be able to inform you that the new campus is located in the Southern part of Hong Kong Island, in Tin Wan, Aberdeen. Spread over four floors, our new school will add a total of 50,000 square feet of teaching and learning space when it opens its doors in August 2017.

With the opening of our new campus, we will be able to provide not only a more spacious learning environment, but also a range of customised and state-of-the-art teaching facilities. As a result, we are now able to accommodate a full, all-through education to Year 10 (with Year 11 phased in from August 2018, Year 12 in August 2019 and 13 in August 2020).

Currently, we are working closely with the local District Council, Education Bureau and a number of different government departments to ensure we are in compliance with all respective regulations. As building works progress, we will be able to share with you the campus’ artist renderings – something I’m sure you are keen to see. Having visited the site, I can share that the space will be full of natural light, and a unique design.

As we prepare our opening, we will also announce our Open Days and Parent Information Sessions. Further details about the school fees and bus routes will also be announced soon, and will be updated on the website in due course.
