Celebrating Mandarin Day involved the whole school from Year 1 to 8, and was structured around fun learning activities in Mandarin. This included story-telling, fashion shows, craft activities and a "China Town" of shops and fun games. The grand finale was assembly where we heard the beautiful voices of our pupils singing Mandarin songs, watched our teachers trying out their Mandarin (and tasting skills!) and a fabulous PTA-sponsored lion dance.

It was also our first attempt at live stream onto YouTube so that our parents could watch it in the cafeteria and other parents could watch it from home or work. Please find the link here and more photos on Flickr

Thank you to all the Mandarin and class teachers as well as the PTA and parents. We wish you a Happy Chinese New Year!
