This Friday is the 2017 Village Homecoming. We want to welcome our entire community to this event. We have an exciting lineup of festivities beginning with the Kick-Off Party at 4:00pm. All activities will be on the HS patio and grass field by our football stadium. Food and refreshments from a variety of food trucks will be available for purchase, so please send money with your child if they plan to buy food during the party. We will also have a live DJ, Kona Ice, face painting, and a photo booth available.
The football game is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm on Viking Field. Our Village Vikings will take on the Northside Lions. As a Viking tradition, one of our Village alumni will flip the opening coin toss. Danya Murad (class of 2017) will be this year’s honorary captain. John Harris, Houston Texans’ football analyst and sideline reporter, will be announcing the game from the press box. During halftime we will introduce the Homecoming Court and have performances from our Viking Spirit Dance team. Our Viking Vanguard band will be playing throughout the game.
Admission is complimentary and concessions will be available for purchase throughout the game. As a reminder, we ask that you please refrain from bringing pets to the game. Parking is limited, so we suggest that you arrive early or carpool if possible. We will have each parking lot open and available to our community. HPD and campus security will be available to assist. Please do not park in the subdivision located nearest Viking Field.
We look forward to an exciting Village Homecoming and hope to see you all there!
