We are excited to announce that our Year 2 student, Lucas Lo, is one of the top three winners of the Nord Anglia Education Global Campus 2018/2019 Comic Book Competition!

This year's competition focuses on Sustainable Development Global Goal 4: Quality Education.

Students will have to pick a problem that affects the world in relation to Goal 4 and create their own very own super hero to solve the problem.

Guest judge, Billy Tan, had an incredibly difficult time selecting the top entries as there were so many talented young writers and illustrators.

Billy Tan, has been drawing comics for over 20 years, has worked on several Marvel comics, has his very own design studio (Tan Comics Co, Ltd).

Billy will also be illustrating the winning 3 students' comic superheroes! How super is that?!

The top comics have been specially selected and recognised for their outstanding entries.

They will be compiled, along with many other great comics into one Nord Anglia Comic Book!

Here are the list of winners for the Under 8s Comic Book Competition:

TOP THREE

  • Clara, age 6, British School of Beijing, Sanlitun  - "Super Lopez Saves the Day"
  • Lucas, age 6, Nord Anglia International School Manila - "Let's All Be A Superhero"
