There is a great emphasis on developing the whole child and not just their academic prowess. Therefore, it is refreshing to see students chosen for the values and attitudes to learning and towards others that we strongly believe will enhance their adulthood and help form them into principal citizens of tomorrow.
Probably for me, the best thing is seeing the awards presented in assembly. It is not the reaction of the winner that pleases most but the reaction of their classmates who fully recognise why a particular student has been chosen to receive the award.
The awards for Primary and Secondary school are not given out lightly and well deserved by the winners.
Our 'students of the week' can feel incredibly proud of themselves for their success, and we as a school all celebrate in that achievement.
