What a week.

There were over 375 races involving pupils from Reception to Year 6. We had sinker pick up races, 2x10m races on the front & back, races with noodles, kick boards and shark fins.

There were 25m and 50m races for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and 25m butterfly races as well as relay races.

There were many, many smiling faces and a sense of elation as each swimmer touched the wall.

There was Mr Liperous on the microphone giving encouragement to all the swimmers and thoroughly entertaining us all.

There was our photographer, Harman, taking photos at the start and finish of each race.

There were the cheering parents, grandparents and siblings.

There were the odd rumbles of thunder and the occasional halt in the proceedings.

There were winning house trophies for the teams with the most points as well as 80metres of bunting.

A great week.  Well done and a huge thank you to each and every participant, teacher, helper and spectator.
