On Sunday 30th September, whilst most of their classmates were probably still in bed, Emma, Maggie, Grace and Charlotte from 12MT took part in the Riding for the Disabled's (RDA) inaugural Inclusion Walk-a-wheelathon. RDA provides horse-assisted therapy to children and adults with physical and mental disabilities and is the only charity in Singapore that provides this therapy free of charge. The three kilometre route took them around 50 minutes to complete. The girls decided to participate in this walk as they felt that it was for an excellent cause, one that was very different to other charities, and so really stood out to them as a group.
Dover Court International School and the DCA are very proud of their association with this charity, in particular since the recent sponsorship of Tony the Pony. Well done girls for supporting our relationship.
