As our AD900 IPC unit came to a close, Year 6 students invited their parents into school to take part in a Learning Showcase where students shared a variety of learning outcomes from the previous eight weeks.
As our AD900 IPC unit came to a close, Year 6 students invited their parents into school to take part in a Learning Showcase where students shared a variety of learning outcomes from the previous eight weeks.
Parents had the opportunity to learn a variety of information about the Mayan Civilisation, the Kingdom of Benin and the Islamic Civilisation. They were also given the chance to try out some of the tasks for themselves, such as writing their name in Mayan glyphs, designing their own geometric Islamic pattern and creating a Benin Bronze Tile.
The event was a huge success and we would like to sincerely thank all of the parents who attended the showcase for their enthusiasm and support.
Year 6 students now look forward to continuing their IPC learning journey in Term 3.
