Business and Enterprise Day 2015

16 October 2015

"Come and get it! Pizzas, biscuits, lollipops....all you can eat for 20,000VND"

The AP1 campus resembled an episode of 'The Apprentice' today as classes from Year 1 - Year 6 took to the field to buy, sell and offer a range of products, games and services at competitive prices. In EYFS classes also produced goods and services to buy ensuring everyone from the youngest to the oldest students had a meaningful learning experience.

Led by our Maths Leaders, John Handscombe and Andy James, the children have been working within classes to run a business with the ultimate aim of creating a profit. With seed money, they were able to buy the resources needed for their stalls. With a CEO and CFO in most classes, each child played a role in their class business. From advertising to making the product, from selling it to looking after the cash, each and every child had a wonderful learning experience taking Maths out of the classroom and into the real world. All profits from the day will be donated to charities chosen by the children.

Watch out world! The AP1 students are ready to take over!
