SISAC and BVIS Girls' Basketball Tournament

27 November 2015

U11 Girls Basketball Squad - SISAC Tournament

On Wednesday 25th November, the U11 Girls Squad went to SSIS for the Basketball SISAC Tournament. There were 6 schools in total including us at the competition. We found out that the games were going to be 20 minutes each half and we only had 6 players.

Firstly, we played against SSIS-C and we won 40 - 2. We were extremely proud and surprised to be able to score 40 points in the first game. After a rest of 5 minutes, we played against ISHMC for another 2 halves and ended up with a score of 12-18. Even though we lost to ISHMC, we went on to the finals to play with BIS TX and won 12-3. In the end, we came 3rd and were all tired out.

We worked hard as a team and we were proud and happy of what we can now do on that basketball court.

U11 Girls 'B' team - hosted at BVIS

It was such an enjoyable time to play basketball at the BVIS campus, on Wednesday 25th November. We had three matches in total. Our first and second matches we won but our third one was very intense. By the end of the match it was a tie. Then, at the end of the extra two minutes it was still tied so we went on to golden points. Unfortunately, the EIS scored first and therefore won the game.

Our team was still very proud with being runners up. I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Richard and Mr John for helping us in every training session we had and congratulations to all the girls that played.
