AP1 Music in 'The Most Wonderful Time of the Year'

11 December 2015

This year’s cross-campus concert at Ben Thanh Theatre was a wonderfully festive event featuring performances from all three campuses.

The AP1 Orchestra opened the show with Walking in the Air followed by performances from three of our AP1 Choirs.  The combined choir’s rendition of “Reindeer on the Roof” certainly caused the audience to smile and contrasted well with MP3 Choir’s “A Spaceman Came Travelling” and Harmony Choir’s “Let It Snow”.

Our segment of the show was finished off with a cheery performance of “Frosty the Snowman” featuring all of our AP1 musicians.  However, the undoubted highlight of the evening was when all three campuses joined together at the end for a finale of John Williams’ “Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas”.  What a fantastic way to end an already amazing event!  Well done to all those musicians involved.
